Rémy Martin Cognac Coupe Shanghai

Rémy Martin Cognac A tribute to the original Coupe Shanghai crafted in 1903 for Cognac connoisseurs

In 1903, Rémy Martin’s Cellar Master Paul Emile Rémy Martin II created a special Cognac especially designed for Asia: The Coupe Shanghai . Today, in honour of the original Coupe Shanghai, Pierrette Trichet unveiled a new blend, a reinterpretation of his creation. This new blend makes the link between the past and the modernity of the brand and reflect the beautiful transmission dating from centuries at Rémy Martin House of Cognac.

Rémy Martin Coupe Shanghai is composed of eaux-de-vie coming exclusively from the most sought-after vineyards of Cognac: Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. Such eaux-de-vie offer an exceptional ageing potential and are known as Cognac Fine Champagne.

The aromas and flavors
Very harmonious fragrance of candied fruits, dry flowers and leather. Magnificient in opulence.
The long ageing in Limousin oak barrels gives an intense sensation of opulence, with notes of almonds, rich fruits cake such as Christmas pudding and a very long finish.

The traditional double distillation in small copper stills brings a very well balanced mouth feel and silky texture.

Extraordinarily long finish
